((Sorry for the double post as I am unable to edit my previous one to add on... Any admin can merge these posts later if it has to...))
So I got my Platinum version a few days ago... And I'm actually kinda disappointed... They dumbed it down to where a toddler can play with relative ease, which I don't like... The features they added on don't quite make up for that... As a note, I'm more than halfway done with the game already (7 badges, no legendary yet though)... So I can't say much about the storyline as of yet, but that hasn't been too bad as of yet...

he he i went through the whole game with the one pokemon :p an alakazam 
the elite four was hard with just him though... even though it was lvl 70 and had Sp.Atk through the roof

Ahhh, Dio, I will challenge you whenever I can get my USB thing for Wi-fi and put it on my friend's computer (doesn't work for Mac). I just went through Diamond again, and now I'm collecting all the special peoples, like Darkrai, Giratina, Arceus.........working on Heatran now.

Besides Alakazam, who do you have? I'm training Manaphy, Riolu, and I have a Luxray, Giratina, Shaymin, and Staraptor.

lol dude alakazam was my platinum playthrough i have a whole team of good EV trained pokes that are legit. (at face value) they were created through pokesav but made legal in every single aspect including where they were caught.

My pokemanz are all legit, as in caught in the game. I just gave myself the necessary items (azure flute, member's key, etc) in order to get them. (Pokesav you can just say where you caught them, is that what you meant?) And now I think I stand no chance, I could never grasp the concept of EV training, so my stats would be significantly lower than yours.

It seems decent, but it also looks like a few Ground, Fighting and Electric types could dismantle your pokemon quite easily once your turn was over (I'm assuming you went first).

Well it's been a while since I've posted in here... XD
I've finally picked out what the pokemon I'm gonna have on my teams... Kinda, it'll explain why in the team layout... Both teams still need major work, but these are the guys I'm gonna use...
Ground/Rock Team (This is gonna be my team for Platinum)
Fire/Fighting Team (For my Diamond version)

- Gliscor- Currently under training (he's only level 18 I believe, he needs to catch up)
Flygon- Needs help with stats (level 50, but has almost no EV's)
Rhyperior- Work in progress (Still need to evolve my Rhydon to get one, not sure about stats yet)
Bastiodon- Currently under training (Shieldon needs to evolve then level up more)
Torterra- Need to obtain (I still need to transfer an egg from my other game)
Garchomp- See Torterra
Or (Cause I'm not sure which I should use since I already have a Ground/Dragon type but no Ground/Dark type. Garchomp = Speed and Tyranitar = Power, I already have enough power so I'll probably go with Garchomp)

Yeah... But most if not all of the -Needs to be level 50-55 to reach it's final stage- Pokemon are considered ubers... It all depends on their stats and attacks though because if you give it attacks that it doesn't have a good stat for, then you're only putting yourself at a handicap...
I always have other possibilities for the last pokemon on my team anyways... There over 400+ Pokemon for crying out loud so there better be something else I can use... XD
I still have to make my mixed team also which is gonna be hard to decide upon...
